With reference to your minute of the 1st January (1) on last, No. 72851/30, regarding the revised Hong Kong Police

agreement, we attach a draft copy brought up to date in

accordance with the amendments proposed in the minute

referred to above and in accordance with your minute of the

2 10th March, No. 82757/31. Will you please say whether

it meets with your approval.

As recruitment in this country has been suspended

until further notice, the reprinting of this agreement does

not press, and consequently, if you consider it desirable,

we will refer the draft to the Colonial Government before

ordering a new supply.
